Anupama is active in conducting Lecture-Demonstrations (ranging from 45 minutes to 2 hrs, mainly in academia), and (week-long) Workshops

The lec-dems feature an introduction to Indian classical music and the basics of sitar playing techniques; the connections between vocal and instrumental music; the differences between Indian and Western classical music; improvisation, etc. The workshops (minimum five students) are interactive, ranging from basic to advanced levels of instruction, with emphasis on specific areas in each session.
